Meeting with Mr. Anup Wadhawan, Commerce Secretary, Department of Commerce, Government of India
World Trade Center Jaipur officials met Mr. Anup Wadhawan-Commerce Secretary, Govt. of India during his recent visit you Jaipur Rajasthan on Wednesday, 11 December 2019. While interacting with Mr. Wadhawan, Mr. Navneet Agarwal- Asst. Director – Trade Promotion, World Trade Center Jaipur congratulated him on his timed visit to Rajasthan, updated him on WTC Jaipur initiatives to facilitate trade from the State.
It is noteworthy here to mention that earlier WTC Jaipur hosted an open house meet with exporters from Rajasthan in Jaipur in the presence of Mr. Anup Wadhawan, the then DGFT and Mr. Yaduvendra Mathur, IAS, the then CMD, EXIM Bank. After the program this is Mr. Wadhawan’s second visit to Rajasthan to address the rising need of exporter- importer fraternity.
Mr. Wadhawan while interacting with exporters in Jaipur suggested that despite the present global pressure on exports, the Indian exporters are playing an important role in maintaining a positive figure of exports of 331 Billion US Dollar. In this era of global competition, to enable exporters Indian government is poised to understand and find quick solutions to their problems.
