MSME Web Portal Launching : Rajasthan to Become Investor Friendly State : CM
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has said “many steps have been taken in the last six months to promote investment and make Rajasthan investor friendly state.”
Announcement of ‘The Rajasthan Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Facilitation of Establishment and Operation) Ordinance, 2019’ and the launching of MSME web portal are the revolutionary steps taken in this direction, he added.

The Prime Minister on November 2, 2018 launched the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Support and Outreach Programme at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi.

MOU for refinery signed by Rajasthan government
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Tuesday between Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) and Government of Rajasthan to establish a Refinery-cum-Petrochemical Complex in Barmer. CM Raje gives major relief to Mining business in state
Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje has given a big relief to mines lease owners in the state. On her directions, to ensure encouragement to the mining industry in the state, Department of Mines and Geology amended and simplified the Rajasthan Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 2017 (New Rules).
This would benefit thousands of mines licensees.
As per the new amended rules, against the previous provision of yearly advanced payment, a miner could now pay the Dead Rent in four quarterly installments. This would also ease the mine owners. Also, the maximum amount of premium to be charged from the miner for transfer of ownership in the name of her or his spouse or children had been reduced from 10 lakh to 50,000 rupees….More

Refinery MoU Inked : Rajasthan govt signs MoU with HPCL
The Rajasthan government signed a MoU with HPCL to resume the big infra project. The project, envisaged to process the crude oil production from the Barmer basin will be one of the first projects in the country to produce BS-VI fuel. A solar module manufacturing plant fully owned and operated by local tribal communities is being set up in Dungarpur, Rajasthan with the help of IIT Bombay.
The Institute has helped implement this first-of- its-kind solar photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturing plant, which will be completely owned and operated by tribal women in Dungarpur, Rajasthan, according to a release.

Rajasthan to get crude oil refinery project
In a bid to insulate the country from volatility in global oil market, the government will build two more underground crude oil storages in Odisha and Rajasthan.
Announcing the two new facilities at Chandikhol in Odisha and Bikaner in Rajasthan, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in his Budget for 2017-18 also exempted income of foreign company, which books a capacity in the strategic storages, from sale of leftover stock.
“For strengthening our energy sector, Government has decided to set up Strategic Crude Oil Reserves. In the first phase, three such Reserves facilities have been set up. Now in the second phase, it is proposed to set up caverns at two more locations, namely, Chandikhole in Odisha and Bikaner in Rajasthan.”Strategic storages provide a country with two-fold advantage. Firstly it ensures utilization of reserves in times of high oil and gas prices and secondly they can be used in the event of supply disruptions following unforeseen events like a natural disasters or a war like situation.
The storage at Chandikhol will be an underground rock cavern while the one at Bikaner will be an underground salt caverns…More

Multiple MoUs at investors’ meet Likely
“It is going to be the biggest event in tourism for the state governments wherein all the states are going to hard-sell their investible projects. About 50 MoUs from aviation to hotels to adventure tourism are going to be signed”, said Ashutosh A T Padnekar, director tourism, government of Rajasthan. According to official sources, investors from across the globe are going to be visiting the summit. Besides, the tourism department would showcase about 100 investible projects, against the backdrop of the tourism campaign `Jaane Kya Dikh Jaaye’. 70% of Resurgent Rajasthan’s MoUs have been successfully identified
Mr. Gajendra Singh, the Industries Minister said during the Resurgent Rajasthan summit held in the capital city of Jaipur in November 2015 “70 per cent of the Memoranda of Understandings (MoUs) which were signed had been identified.” Out of the 470 MoUs signed, 328 projects have been assigned with an acknowledgeable land.
