WTC JAIPUR PROVIDES MSMEs FROM RAJASTHAN AND GUJARAT TO EXHIBIT AT WORLD TRADE EXPO 2019

Leading a delegation of about 18 exhibitors from Rajasthan and Gujarat WTC Jaipur supported the MSMEs from various districts of the two states and provided them complimentary stalls to exhibit their exportable handmade products by working hand in hand with MSME Jaipur , Industries Department Udyog Bhawan Jaipur, Office of Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) , Ministry of Textiles – Jodhpur, Jaipur and Gujarat office. WTC Jaipur was also able to take active support from Mr. P. Mallikarjunaiah, Regional Director (Western Region) O/o The Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India to motivate the exhibitors and deliver his presentation on Export scenario form India.

World Trade Expo 2019 provides a platform to meet, connect and explore investment opportunities from representatives of 30 countries, 50+ foreign business houses with operations in India and MSMEs from five Indian States. The participating countries joined the Expo with their key trade officials from Embassies, Consulates and Trade Offices to present on Trade and Investment Opportunities in their countries, while foreign business houses showcased how they were able to integrate MSMEs into global value chains. MSMEs displayed their products and services which are export ready. The Expo was open to business enterprises from all prominent sectors in Manufacturing, Agri & Food Processing as well as Services.
As a resultant, World Trade Expo 2019 was able to create new avenues for MSMEs, women entrepreneurs and start-ups to explore and interact with a view to tap the vast unexplored markets and seek potential buyers and collaborators. The Expo featured an exhibition, business-to-business meetings and country presentations.
